Headquartered in rainy Seattle, Gaco Western has manufactured waterproofing products for the architectural and construction trades since 1955. A family owned company, Gaco Western has always adhered to three fundamental principles; superior products, sold by experts, at competitive prices. Our coatings cover millions of square feet on commercial and residential buildings around the world. We are well-known and trusted in the construction industry as a producer of top-quality waterproof coatings, sealers, primers and insulation products.

Homeowners and do-it-yourselfers heard about our great products from their contractors or architects and asked us to make them available to the retail market. We listened and to this day adhere to our three principles!

Recognizing the success of this, Gaco Western’s retail line of commercial grade coatings are only sold by the best specialty lumber and hardware stores that truly understand products they sell. This approach ensures our retail customer the same degree of confidence enjoyed by our commercial customers.

We’re constantly reevaluating the marketplace and our procedures in order to provide our customers with a quality product at a competitive price.
