WATER BASED ELASTOMERIC COATING

Description:
Gaco Western’s GACODECK KIT water-borne, single component elastomeric coatings are characterized by excellent hardness, strength, adhesion and water resistance.

Usage:
A protective coating and membrane for non-ponding walking decks.

Standard Colors:
DK01 Oyster, DK02 Pewter, DK16 Shale, DK18 Adobe, DK47 Sedona, DK49 Desert.

Contents:
The GACODECK KIT includes 3 1/2 gallons (13.25 L) of coating, 1 1/2 pounds (.68 kg) of granule, 1 roll of polyester tape 4” x 120’ (10.16 cm x 36.58 m), 1 short nap roller cover, one 3” (7.62 cm) paint brush, and a “Do - It - Yourself” video. The GACODECK KIT is designed to cover 100 square feet (9.3 m²).

Toxicity
We believe cured coating to be non-toxic. However, confirming tests have not been conducted.

Adheres well to most surfaces.

Flammability
Class A on non-combustible decks and Class C on combustible decks per UL-790 (ASTM E-108). Contact Gaco Western for Class B application recommendations.

Storage: 
Three years in original unopened container. Protect from freezing. Freezing temperature 29°F (-2°C). If frozen, thaw at 40 to 80°F (4°C to 27°C). If melted to a smooth, homogeneous condition, it is equal to original material. Do not allow material or surface of container to exceed 100°F (38°C). Gelation may occur.

 

APPLICATION

 

GACODECK KIT products are water based systems and require the complete evaporation of water to achieve cure. DO NOT apply to surfaces that are, or will be lower than, 50°F (10°C) within 6 hours.

Clean up using GacoDeck Wash or water mixed with liquid detergent.
