WATER BASED ELASTOMERIC PRIMER

Description:
GacoDeck Primer water-borne, single component elastomeric primer is characterized by excellent hardness and strength whenused with GacoDeck Top Coat.

Usage:
Intended for the following application: 

GacoDeck Primer is used for adhesion purposes before top coating existing waterproof membranes coated with Acrylic, Hypalon or Urethane waterproofing systems.

Limitations:
DO NOT apply on surfaces where water remains ponding for longer than 48 hours

Toxicity

Adhesion:

Storage Stablility: 
Three years in original unopened container. Protect from freezing. Freezing temperature 29°F (-2°C).Some separation can occur after storage of several months. Stir thoroughly before using to make homogeneous.

 

Thinning:
Thinning is not recommended under normal conditions. When desired, GacoDeck Primer may be thinned with water up to 5% with subsequent reduction in film build and vertical hold properties.

APPLICATION

 

Apply by spray, roller or brush at a rate of one gallon per 200 square feet (3.8 L / 20 square meters).

Clean up with GacoDeck Wash or water supplemented with liquid detergent.

GacoDeck Primer is water based and requires the complete evaporation of the water to achieve cure. DO NOT apply to surfaces that are, or will be lower than, 50°F (10°C). within 12 hours.
